Job Description:
Job SummaryThe Level 3 Maintenance Engineer is responsible for
the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all hotel equipment
and systems. This includes HVAC-R, plumbing, electrical, and
mechanical systems. Candidate will have advanced technical
expertise, an initiative-taking approach to problem-solving,
excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the
highest standards of safety and
efficiency.ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or
vocational training required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance,
preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC-R, plumbing, electrical, and
mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
complex equipment issues.
- Understanding of hotel fire life safety systems.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in relevant technical fields (e.g., HVAC-R,
electrical).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving
heavy equipment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings,
weekends, and holidays.
- Able to assist in special events setup when requested.Job
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment
and systems, including HVAC-R, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
systems.
- Work with vendors on needed repairs or be able to troubleshoot
and repair equipment to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff when needed to address
and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance
with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Able to use and understand hotel engineering preventive
maintenance software and keep up to date.
- Monitor and adjust building energy management systems to ensure
optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely
resolution.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following
established procedures and protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff and
assist in their professional development.
- Assist engineering department as requested by Director of
Engineering, Chief Engineer, or Engineering Manager.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in the hotel.Company
