Job Description:
A company is looking for a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst to join
their Commercial Lines Small Business Insurance team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Catastrophe Modeling R&D department to
analyze catastrophe peril, risk, and financial metrics
Maintain the SQL exposure data environment and develop data
cleaning and storage best practices
Provide regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis to various business
units using geospatial and data visualization tools
Required Qualifications
A minimum of four years of analytical work experience, or a
Bachelor's degree with three years of experience, or a Bachelor's
degree in a quantitative field with one year of experience
Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python
Familiarity with geospatial tools and geocoding software such as
Tableau or ArcGIS
Experience with catastrophe modeling software like AIR, KCC, or
RMS
Online pre-employment testing is required for external
candidates
