Job Description:
The City of Chino (pop. 93,000) is located where Los Angeles,
Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties converge. The
Finance Department is organized into four divisions: Fiscal &
Accounting Services, Purchasing/Warehouse, Utility Billing
Services, and Budget. Reporting to the City Manager, the Director
of Finance oversees an operating budget of $20.4 million and is
supported by 23 full-time and four part-time employees. The City of
Chino seeks a well-regarded local government finance professional
who is an empowering, collaborative leader committed to their
team's success. This adaptive leader will foster a cohesive team
spirit dedicated to providing solutions and eliminating obstacles
for departments and customers. The desired candidate will be an
innovative problem solver who adopts and advances best business
practices and has a track record of embracing and integrating
technology.Qualifications:Candidates will have five years of
progressively responsible administrative experience in municipal
finance, five years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's
degree. CPA certification is desired. Salary goes up to $239,244
annually, DOQE, supplemented by attractive benefits.How to
